William King Museum of Art recently announced the receipt of a grant from the C. Bascom Slemp Foundation.
Members of the Foundation’s trustee board visited the museum Thursday, Sept. 7, to present a check for $30,600 in support of the museum’s art education programs for elementary schools in Lee and Wise Counties.
Betsy K. White, Executive Director, accepted the check on behalf of the museum and expressed appreciation for the longstanding partnership between the Foundation and William King Museum of Art.
