Clinic offering free dental extractions

Free dental extractions will be offered April 29 and 30 and May 1.

In partnership with the Virginia Dental Association Foundation’s Mission of Mission program, volunteers at the Appalachian Highlands Community Dental Center’s “Mini-MOM”even will provide free care to around 100 adults.

Patients will be seen from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 29 and 30 and from 7 a.m. to noon on may 1.

More than 30 dentists and other volunteers will be on hand.

Appalachian Highlands Community Dental Center is located at 616 Campus Drive in Abingdon.

Founded in 1996 as the charitable and outreach arm of the Virginia Dental Association, the VDAF is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide access to dental care for underserved and underinsured Virginians.
