The Smyth County Sheriff’s Office and Wythe County Sheriff’s Office are both participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 24.
The take back day aims to provide a safe and convenient way to dispose of unneeded prescri0tion drugs. Vaping products and cartridges will be accepted.
In Smyth County, drop off unwanted and/or expired medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Food City in Marion. The drop off for Wythe County is in front of the sally port.
