The Emory & Henry College Outdoor Track & Field Teams competed at the Electric City Invitational hosted by fellow South Atlantic Conference opponent Anderson (S.C.) University on Friday and Saturday. The men’s team broke a program record and tied a second while finishing 16th. The women’s squad was tied for 25th and broke four school bests while establishing the pole vault record.
Saltiville freshman T.J. Pecina finished 23rd in the 400 meter dash, stopping the watch at 51.61. Cody Pecina was 37th in the 800 meter run, clocking in at 2:03.24.
