The Emory & Henry College women’s golf team concluded play in The Mountain Empire Intercollegiate Tuesday posting a pair of personal-best rounds.
Freshman Emily Smelcer shook off her Monday round and responded with another program record of 78 (+6), to move up seven spots to 19th. It marked the first round in the 70s for E&H women’s golf and broke the previous best by five shots.
Freshman McKenna Quillen made it three-straight outings shooting a collegiate-best with a 92 (+20) to take 20th overall.
