Emory & Henry College students were surrounded in love and support by members of the faculty and staff from all departments in a “tunnel of love” created down a brick walkway today on the Emory campus for the second annual Spread the Love event.
“We wanted to show the students who are working hard and persevering through their classes, extracurricular commitments and activities how much they are loved and cared for by our staff,” said Travis Proffitt, Dean of Student Success. “It’s always nice to take a pause in our day to show appreciation and offer encouragement.”
Staff lined the walkway with posters, music, candy treats and cheers of affirmation paired with Valentine’s cards.
