Emory & Henry College to Participate in Southwest Virginia College and University Pop-up Event

Emory & Henry College is excited to share its involvement in the Southwest Virginia College and University Pop-up Event. This new event brings together Bluefield University, Emory & Henry College, Ferrum College, New River Community College, Radford University, and Roanoke College, giving future students a chance to meet college representatives in the New River Valley.

This free event will occur at New River Valley Community Colleges’ Christiansburg mall location in Christiansburg, Virginia, on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., with representatives from different colleges sharing insights about educational opportunities.

At the event, prospective families and students can learn about academic programs; financial aid; student life; D2 athletics; and career and student support services at Emory & Henry College. This event is an excellent opportunity to interact one-on-one with an Emory & Henry Admissions Office representative who can help you achieve your academic goals; assist with financial aid questions; and suggest the next steps in your educational journey.

Emory & Henry College is known for its high quality liberal arts education, blending tradition with innovation for professional careers as well as making positive social impacts locally and globally. Diverse E&H educational experiences prepare students for successful careers and active citizenship. Ninety-five percent of the students in the Class of 2022 were employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation.  The College will move to University status on August 1, 2024.
