Emory & Henry waiving SAT, ACT scores for applicants

Emory & Henry College is waiving the requirement that first-year applicants must submit standardized test scores for the second year in a row. Prospective students applying for admission for the 2022-2023 school year will have the option to send their SAT or ACT scores for consideration as part of the application process.

“We know that the pandemic has added additional worry to the college search,” says Jennifer Pearce, vice president for enrollment management and external affairs. “To help relieve the stress and pressure students are facing and make our admissions process more accessible, we have decided to remain test optional for the next academic year.”

In the wake of COVID-19, Emory & Henry first chose to be test optional for the 2021-2022 school year.

Emory & Henry is now offering the highest academic merit scholarships in its history – $92,000 over four years. Emory & Henry has added new programs in business, clinical mental health counseling, engineering science and nursing. E&H has applied to compete in division two athletics starting in fall 2021.
