Food City is hiring – well everywhere.
The regional grocer will host a hiring day from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12, and on Saturday, Aug. 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all Food City locations and its distribution center.
The Abingdon-based grocery store celebrated the opening of several new stores and expansions, along with continued growth of its curbside pickup.
The company says it is hiring full- and part-time positions. It’s planning on adding 1,000 new positions.
