George Wythe volleyball improved to 3-4 on the season with a comeback victory over visiting Giles.
Though the Maroons dropped the first frame 25-14, GW battled back with a 29-27 marathon set and followed up with wins of 25-22 and 25-21.

Sydney Leonard led the GW charge with three aces, six kills and four blocks. Samara Sheffey finished with 19 digs, and Maggie Minton had 15 digs, three kills and an ace. Hailey Patel dished out 12 assits to go along with three digs and as many aces. Haley Faulkner issued three kills and had a block and a dig. McKenzie Tate served up sixth, powered down five kills and came up with 15 digs.
Makenna Gilman wrapped up five kills, a block and a dig. Jasmine Faulkner finished with an ace, a kill and four blocks, and Maria Malavolti served up an ace and eight assists and had four kills and five digs.
