George Wythe’s David Goode traded places with Benson Blevins at the Bank of Marion Invitational held at Holston Hills Golf Club.
Goode carded a four-under par 68 to take individual medalist honors, leading the Maroons to a second-place, 322 finish. Blevins finished with a 70 on the sheet.
Reece Vaught shot an 86 and Stephan Jackson a 100.
Marion wasn’t far behind, finishing at 330, good for third place.
Tyler Sayers came in two-under at 70. Grayson Sheets shot a 76, Ethan Baggett an 88 and Brigham Blevins a 96.
Rural Retreat finished with a 397 team score.
At the Woodford Classic held earlier in the week at Wytheville’s Golf Club, Blevins took top honors, stroking a 66.
Goode was one stroke back at 67.
