Health profession honor society members graduate

Congratulations to the Alpha Eta Society members from our Master of Occupational Therapy Class of 2021!

Alpha Eta is the National Honor Society of the Allied Health Professions. The primary purpose of the Society is to recognize excellence and promote leadership, scholarship, and contribution to the health professions. The Emory & Henry College Chapter of the Alpha Eta Society was established on April 23, 2018 with the purpose of recognizing and promoting these same academic and professional attributes. Prospective students are nominated by their departments, voted on by the Alpha Eta faculty membership, and approved by the Dean. Membership in Alpha Eta is awarded to graduate Health Science degree recipients who rank in the top 20 percent of their graduating class, maintain at least a 3.80 cumulative GPA while enrolled in their School of Health Sciences program, and demonstrate the capacity for leadership and achievement in their chosen Health Sciences field. Members of the Alpha Eta Society have the privilege of wearing the green honor sashes and insignia pins with their academic regalia.

Congratulations to the newest members of the Alpha Eta Society!
