Carilion New River Valley Medical Center posted on social media a picture of a tent outside the hospital, saying it had set up an outdoor, climate-controlled tend next to the emergency department to provide additional waiting room space.
“It is needed to maintain appropriate social distancing in our waiting room; it will not be used as a patient care area.”
