Hurricanes compete on home turf

Marion junior Ruby Hoerter led the Hurricane runners at their home meet in Hungry Mother State Park, finishing 12^th with a time of 22:30.5.

Alexa Blevins, a Marion junior earned 69^th, clocking in at 27:38.2. Gracie Widener finished in 31:23.3, claiming 82^nd. Emily Hash’s time of 31:43.7, earned her 83^rd.

On the boys’ side, junior Alex Armbrister turned in a 16^th-place performance, finishing in 18:22.2. Clocking in at 18:35.6, Elijah Wheatley claimed 20^th.

Senior Wyatt Hall finished in 49^th with a time of 19:57.3. Will Burkett’s time of 21:51.0 earned him 72^nd. Collin Creggar finished in 87^th,  stopping the watch at 24:06.0. Gage Stamper clocked in at 25:37.5 to claim 93^rd, while Jonathan Barbrow’s 25:49.4 was good for 95^th.  Sophomore Camden Wilcox finished in 96^th with a time of 25:49.5. Junior Josh Marousek finished in 97^th, clocking in at 26:08.9.
