By the bottom of that opening inning, though, Rural Retreat had wiped the smiles off the Holston faithful’s faces, jumping to a 3-1 lead. By the bottom of the second, the Indians had plated two more runs, enough to win the game. But it wasn’t enough for Rural Retreat who continued on to claim a 10-4 Hogoheegee victory.
Trevor Shelton put in five innings of work for the Indians and also helped himself at the plate with a pair of hits.
