Detective Joe Kincer of the Wytheville Police Department was recently promoted from the patrol division.
Prior to his time at the WPD, Kincer worked at the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office for 24 years, serving as a deputy, detective and lieutenant supervisor over the detective division.
Kincer brings numerous law enforcement certifications in many specialized schools along with his years of experience.
