–          12th annual “Scarecrow Lane” community scarecrow contest, throughout downtown.  Vote online for your favorite scarecrow

Friday, October 27   50th anniversary showing of “The Exorcist” at the Lincoln Theatre, admission $5

Saturday, October 28

–          “Halloween Madness” downtown “Trunk or Treat” event, 11am-1pm.  Businesses, community groups, and churches may set up on Broad Street for free – application available by emailing [email protected].  

–          Halloween cartoons and costume contest following the Trunk or Treat event at the historic Lincoln Theatre, 1:30pm.  Admission is FREE!

–          “Dread Through the Decades” Film Festival, featuring classic horror films  “Nosferatu”, “The Blood of a Poet”, “Cat People”, “The Curse of Frankenstein”, “Night Tide”, and “Suspiria” starting at 3pm – admission is FREE!

Saturdays Thanksgiving through Christmas
