Cooks, musicians and folks hunting some fall fun flocked to downtown Marion on Saturday for a day of music and chili.
This year, for the second time, MFK Game Calls claimed the top spot in the annual chili cookoff. Marion Fire/EMS took second place and also won the people’s choice award. SWVA Proxell Technologies won third and received the event’s showmanship award.
Marion-based musicians filled the streets with music throughout the day, performing at the end of Main from 2 to 10 p.m.
