The Wythe County Board of Supervisors this month recognized George Wythe High School’s Scholastic Bowl Team. This season they went undefeated in the Mountain Empire District. This year marked their fourth consecutive year earning the state championship title. County leaders congratulated the GWHS Scholastic Bowl Team comprised of Charla King, Ivy Lin, Mason Mabry, Eden Miller, Kendra Nguyen, Charlotte Phillips, Sam Wilner, and coach Jonathan Powers.
