Wythe County Community Hospital rang in the New Year with the newest baby, born at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1.
Baby girl, River, was born to mom Cayla and weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 20 inches.
Dr. Elizabeth Fox was the attending physician and Dr. Chase King was the attending physician for the baby. A gift basket was presented to the mother and baby from Wythe County Community Hospital.
