Bonnie Sue Grinstead Haga

Bonnie Sue Grinstead Haga, 82, died Monday July 10, 2023, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon.

Haga was born in Marion to the late Theodore Grinstead and Hassie Anderson Grinstead and was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jeff Mash and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Haga.

She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and loved flowers and gospel music. She was a tender, loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was very dedicated to her family.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Roy Don Haga; four children, Kathy Lynn Mash, Michael Vance Haga, Monica Geddings and husband, Larry, and Phillip Wells Haga and wife, Sarah; grandchildren Misty Mash, Martin Mash, Mary Beth Hunt, Heather Blevins, Colin Geddings, Kelsey Farnan, Cody Haga, Forrest Haga, Alyssa Fisher, Brandon Bush and Kadance Bush;  11 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Mercer; and brother, William Dale Grinstead.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, July 14, at Macedonia Baptist Church  with the Revs. Joey Roland and Dennis Eller officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-6 p.m.  prior to services.
