Open house planned for Carroll County students

Carroll County High School students will take part in an April 14 open house at Thomas Automation Management, which will include a tour and the opportunity to learn about manufacturing career paths.

Students will get a chance to learn about mechanical and electrical technicians, engineering, automation and machining while visiting representatives from Wytheville and New River community college.

Mount Rogers Regional Partnership is one of 17 regional economic development organizations in the commonwealth, serving six localities in Southwest Virginia—Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth and Wythe counties and the City of Galax.
