Keeli Parkey has been promoted to director of public relations for Corporate Image, a communications firm headquartered in Bristol, Tennessee.
As director of public relations, Parkey’s responsibilities include overseeing Corporate Image’s project management team as it executes strategic media and communications campaigns. Parkey recently served as project manager for Corporate Image, which included handling client projects that involve research, writing and media relations.
“We are excited to have Keeli leading our strategic communications efforts,” said Robbie Phillips, vice president of Corporate Image. “She is an incredibly valuable member of our team, and her insight and expertise will continue to be a significant benefit to our client base as she steps into her new role.”
Parkey joined Corporate Image in 2021 after spending most of her career as an editor and managing editor for newspapers in Northeast Tennessee, including The Erwin Record. She was part of The Erwin Record staff that won the Tennessee Press Association’s General Excellence Award in 2014. Parkey also won several individual TPA awards during her career.
A native of Unicoi, Tennessee, Parkey holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City and a master’s degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville.
