Find out Jan. 27 as Saltville holds its 31st annual Woolly Mammoth Day event sponsored by the Museum of the Middle Appalachians.
The day kicks off with a breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Northwood High School’s cafeteria, complete with music and door prizes. Tickets are available at the door or at the museum and run $10 for adults and $5 for children. The breakfast is provided by Madam Russell and Blackwell’s Chapel United Methodist churches.
Woolly will make the annual spring forecast at 11 a.m. in the Saltville Town Commons.
