Theatre Bristol plans spring class slate

Theatre Bristol’s Cathy DeCaterina School of Theatre Arts presents upcoming 2024 classes and workshops for both onstage and offstage experiences. Workshops are held at Theatre Bristol, 5512 State St., Bristol, Tennessee and registration is open online at www.TheatreBristol.org.

School of Theatre Arts Spring classes run through February and March:

  • 5-7 year olds spark a love for being onstage in Creative Dramatics. Topics include theatre games, improv, practicing being something you’re not, audition practice, and more
  • 8-10 year olds enjoy Dramatics 1 consisting of theatre games and improv, as well as working to build a foundation for acting, gain confidence, and practice auditioning
  • 11-13 year olds learn about characterization, dig into acting technique, and practice auditioning in Dramatics 2

Participants also have fun with our favorite games such as Hitchhiker and Actor’s Worst Nightmare, and make friends who enjoy the dramatic arts!
