Wythe County Treasurer Lori C. Guynn updated country residents on the status of 2022 real estate bills last week, saying that her office hasn’t received the data to prepare the bills.
Guynn said the Commission or Revenue office and IT department are working to get the correct data from the software vendor, which would allow the offices to get bills sent out. Guynn, who asked for patience, said residents can find out how much their bills will be by calling the Commissioner’s office at 276-223-6015.
Guynn said the due date for real estate tax bills would be adjusted.
