Some star power will be in Wytheville on April 2.
For the Titans of the Cage No. 31, held at the Wytheville Meeting Center, local mixed martial arts fighters will be joined by UFC fighter Bryan “Pooh Bear” Battle.
Battle was a recent winner of “The Ultimate Fighter” TV show, despite being the last picked for a team. He fought his way through the field of the top up-and-coming middleweights to be crowned the show’s champ.
Fresh off a win over previously undefeated Tresean Gore, Battle is now at 7-1. He trains at Hayastan MMA in Charlotte, North Carolina, which will have a couple amateur fighters getting it on at the Titans of the Cage event.
