Washington County is seeking qualified candidates for the County Attorney position due to the retirement of the long-standing attorney. This position renders legal advice and services to the Board of Supervisors and the County Administrator and is responsible for all County Attorney Office activities and functions.
Among other qualifications, a Juris Doctorate degree is required and must be a member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar. The incumbent must possess advisory and governmental or business legal practice experience of at least five years and must demonstrate an in-depth legal knowledge applicable to the position.
