Wasp runners compete

Wasp runners hit the trail for the first time since November 2019 on Friday, competing at the EMU Heritage Invitational. Both the men’s and women’s teams finished third out of four-team field.

In the men’s 5K, senior Conor White ut in a third-place time of 16:43 to lead the Emory & Henry men.

Leaders for the women were freshman Arriona Holiz and sophomore Annalyse McHone, who finished 11th and 12th, respectively, turning in times of 22:11 and 22:14.

Rural Retreat graduate freshman Jade Streeby finished in 25:40, good for 25th place.
