Wythe County is seeking lifeguards.
Candidates should be positive, friendly and willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Candidates are also required to have lifeguard certification. The county may provide certification on a first-come, first-served basis for up to five people. Those interested should contact the parks and recreation department .
Lifeguards will also be responsible for daily maintenance of the pool and facilities, monitoring/supervising the pool area, and other duties deemed necessary.
Certified applicants starting pay will be $12 per hour. Qualified applicants that Wythe County pays for certification will be $11.50 per hour
