Wythe Treasurer’s, Commissioner of Revenue offices moving

Wythe County’s Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurer’s Office are on the move, relocating to 290 S. Sixth St.

The new offices are in the addition to the existing County Office Building, which also contains the offices of the Department of Social Services and the Wythe County Health Department. The new addition allows for better access to the public and offers improved handicap accessibility.

“We are so excited for this change,” said county Treasurer Lori Guynn. “This new location will provide a more streamlined customer experience in an updated facility. With the growth of the county, this will allow for more efficiency and will be easier for the public to get into the building.”

The new offices will be located down the hall, to the right after the entrance. The Commissioner of Revenue Office will be on the left side of the hallway, and the Treasurer’s Office will be on the right.

Visitor’s parking spaces are located in front of the building.

The offices at the courthouse will be repurposed for the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
