The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IHSA Team opened the spring portion of its season over the weekend, competing at UNC Greensboro. The Wasps took team champion honors on Saturday and were third on Sunday.
In Novice, junior Amelia Bowen of Wytheville took third.
UNC Greensboro was the first place team while High Point was second and E&H was third.
