Mellow rock on tap at Millwald in May

On May 10, Yacht Rock Schooner is bringing its seven-man dance party to the Millwald Theatre at 8 p.m.

Specializing in the smooth sounds of the late 1970s and early 1980s, Yacht Rock is for anyone who is a big fan of Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins or Michael McDonald.

Schooner has the smooth cred of having shared the stage with original yacht rockers, Bobby Kimball (Toto), Wayne Nelson (Little River Band), Peter Beckett (Player), Walter Egan, and Robbie Dupree.
