Art museum gets $25,000 HVAC grant

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development awarded the William King Museum of Art, located in Abingdon $25,000 to purchase a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for better humidity and temperature control in the museum. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“The William King Museum of Art is home to multiple collections of valuable art, both from the region and around the world. This $25,000 investment by USDA Rural Development will help the museum maintain proper levels of humidity and temperature to ensure the art is properly preserved.”
