Animal Control Officer Isaac Diamond of the Wytheville Police Department was recently awarded by the the Best Friends Animal Society for maintaining a 90% save rate for calendar year 2022.
CEO of Best Friends Animal Society Julie Castle wrote that the 90 percent save rate “represents so much more than a number. It represents a culture of caring and compassion.”
Castle also praised Diamond for being part of a team that creates opportunities for “people and animals to experience love.”
