Eastside too much for the Fort

Fort Chiswell must have felt the deja vu all over again.

Last season, Eastside whipped Fort Chiswell in the quarterfinals, and they did it again on Tuesday, posting a 74-54 win over the Lady Pioneers.

After the first frame, FC was playing catchup to the tune of six points. By the half, the Lady Pioneers were trailing by 10. It didn’t get any better in the second half, particularly the fourth quarter, where the Lady Spartans posted a 26-18 run, sealing the season for the Fort.

Blair Jackson continued to be a force to be reckoned with, netting 25 points in the loss. Over the season, Jackson has averaged nearly 23 points per game. Kara King dropped in eight points.
