Emory & Henry’s volleyball team started off the Division II era with a win, taking down Brevard College 3-1 on Thursday night, winning the first set 25-19, the third 25-18 and the fourth 25-15. Brevard won the second set 25-22.
Junior Carley Williams led the Wasps at the net with a 12-kill performance. Sophomore Hannah Watson had 10 kills and five blocks. Freshman Paige Halcrow dished out 18 assists, and sophomore libero Sarah Moore came up with 13 digs.
