Chilhowie improved to 4-0 on the year with a 3-1 win over Honaker, 24-26, 25-15, 25-23, 25-17.

Hannah Goodwin served up six aces and issued eight kills in the win. Katelyn Hopkins came up with 23 digs. Mari-Beth Boardwine had 17 kills and 10 digs. Lakken Hanshew finished with nine kills and four blocks.

Auburn shut out Galax, handing the Tide a 3-0 MED loss, 25-18, 25-11 and 25-18.

Carroll County proved too much for Marion, handing the Canes a 3-0 volleyball loss, 25-19, 25-14,25-23.

Northwood shut out council, led by Santana Cardwell, Emma McCready and Karlee Frye.

Cardwell had six kills and served up four aces. McCready served a dozen aces, and Frye had three aces in the 25-10, 25-7, 25-11 win.

Kylie Pope issued 16 kills to lead Grayson County to its first win of the season in a 3-1 victory over Holston. Carli Campbell shared 16 assists in the win.
