U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-9), Republican Leader of the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, delivered opening remarks at a hearing on COVID-19 vaccines featuring witnesses from vaccine manufacturers.
Despite what Griffith called “unprecedented” speed from the lab to shots, the congressman said that some states say vaccine supply the No. 1 hurdle to vaccinating Americans faster. He noted that the vaccine manufacturing process and expanding capacity takes time.
