Health clinic plans grand opening

Tri-Area Community Health at Grayson plans a Jan. 19 grand opening that will be streamed live on the group’s Facebook page and will be available online at www.triareahealth.org.

The clinic is at 6436 Troutdale Highway, Troutdale.

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

The clinic offers primary care services for pediatrics through geriatrics. The clinic also provides physicals, labs, X-Rays, behavioral health services, medication asistance and a sliding fee pay scale.

Jane Sage, a native of Wythe County who has lived in western Grayson County since 2003, is the main provider. She is married with a daughter and a son. Sage and her family are actively involved in their church. She also enjoys making goat’s milk soap, baking and spending time with her family. She has worked mostly in primary care for the past 15 years. For two years, she worked in hospice and palliative care.

“I hope to be ale to provide quality primary health care services in this community for many years to come,” Sage said. “I am thrilled to be a part of the Tri-Area team and look forward to working collaboratively with other providers to offer the exciting services available to Tri-Area’s patients. This community is my home and to be able to return to practice here is truly an answered prayer! I am so excited to see what the future holds for this communtiy with Tri-Area Community Health coming to Grayson County!”
