George Wythe hung a Mountain Empire loss on Grayson’s girls 71-30.
Amarrah Carter-Bennett led the scoring for GW, dropping in 13 points, with nine being fired from beyond the arc. Alana Malavolti and Makaylan Luttrell each chipped in a dozen points for the Maroons.
Grayson was paced by Krissy Clontz’s 12 points.
Honaker hung a Hogoheegee loss on Rural Retreat’s Lady Indians 61-35. Annabelle Fiscus led RR in the loss, scoring 11 on the night.
The Tigers and the Maroons look to clash in the post-season.
The Indian boys also struggled with the Tigers, dropping a 69-51 contest despite Caleb Roberts’ 14 points.
Elsewhere in the Hogo, Chilhowie swept Northwood, with the boys taking a 48-44 win and the Lady Warriors claiming a 54-22 victory.
