Indians split games with Warriors

The Chilhowie baseball team continued to dominate the Hogoheegee world, rocking Rural Retreat 11-5.

Led by Connor Smith, who drove in four runs on Tuesday, Chilhowie unknotted a 2-2 tie in the top of the fourth inning thanks to a seven-run outburst.

The Indians got some good news from the bat of Noah Bandrimer, who had a long ball.

On the softball side, Rural Retreat returned the hammering hanging a 12-5 loss on the Lady Warriors.

Elaina Terry and Haley Whitlow each went yard as the RR crew improved to 6-3 on the season.

Lexi Williams struck gold for Chilhowie, knocking a homer.

The win followed up an 8-4 showing over Holston on Monday for Rural Retreat.

Taylor Preston fanned 16 for Marion as the Lady Canes took an extra inning win off Graham.
