Calling all poets.
The Smyth County Public Library’s Marion branch is asking poets to submit their works for the library’s self-published zine “So Speaks the Poet!” Submissions are due by May 14.
Every writer is welcome to submit a work, but bear in mind it is intended to be accessible to all age groups and subject matter should reflect that. No profanity.

The Marion library is also looking for photos of local farmers and their lives as a way to celebrate citizen science month. The form, found at https://forms.gle/xsam@, is due by April 26.
