George Wythe claimed the county football crown with a 41-6 showing over Rural Retreat.
Leyton Fowler led the Maroon charge, scoring five touchdown – four on the ground and the fifth a 47-yard pass from Luke Jollay.
Fowler gobbled up 107 yards on 22 carries. Jollay tossed for 115 passing yards and rushed for 41 in the win.
Rural Retreat’s lone score came on a 65-yard strike from Ely Blevins to Kaiden Atkinson.
GW improved to 3-3 on the year and RR fell to 3-4.
