Wytheville-based professional mixed martial arts fighter Robbie Ring trains for an upcoming fight. Ring is part of Ring Combat Sports on 2190 W. Ridge Road.
Ring heads to Knoxville’s Cotton Eyed Joe for a fight on Friday, March 4. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the fight begins at 6 p.m. Ring, on the main event card, will be closing out the fight. Tickets are on sale through Ring at www.fightertix.com/aries.
The fight is part of the Aries Fight Series. Entry is $40 with cageside seating $100. The fight can also be seen on pay per view at Spectation Sports.
Ring will be squaring off against Dusty Little in a bantamweight brawl.
The card was in a bit of question when Edward Massey pulled out of the fight, but Little, an undefeated pro, too, stepped up to the challenge. Little is coming off his winning turn in his pro debut in Louisiana. Ring is putting his 3-0 pro record on the line.
