Smyth library offers Worry Monsters

The Marion Public Library is offering craft kits for participants to make their own Worry Monsters, so called because worries are their favorite food.

Young patrons will have the opportunity to customize their own Worry Monsters, layering on a variety of textures, parts and pieces.

In addition, each monster carries a backpack to fill with happy thoughts. Children feed their monsters worries and read a happy thought.

The Marion library is offering curb-side book bundle surprises. Call the library at 276-783-2323 and give staff your child’s age so they can select age-appropriate books. Each participant will be entered into a monthly raffle.
