2022 Wytheville and Wythe County Rec League Super Bowl XXVI CHAMPS!
Two Fort Chiswell Youth League teams faced off against two Wytheville teams this past Saturday at Fort Chiswell High School. Both Pioneer teams were defeated and the Maroons were crowned your 2022 Super Bowl XXVI Champions. Each of the teams earned their right to play at the Super Bowl the previous weekend. The varsity Pioneers (Gold) game was full of excitement and finished with a heart pounding upset. The Pioneers unseated the one loss Rural Retreat Indians that had hopes of meeting up with one of the Wytheville teams in the Super Bowl. Congratulations to all of the programs, teams, coaches and parents on another great Wythe County/Wytheville Football season!
