Three Wytheville residents picked for Withers Wall of Honor

Three local residents were recently picked by the Wall of Honor Committee for inclusion on the Civic Monument in Withers Park.

The committee reviews nominations once a year and chooses individuals who through hard work, diligence, intelligence, ability or talent, have been recognized as a leading person in business, religion, education, government, politics, medicine, arts, philanthropy, or other worthwhile effort.

The 2022 honorees shown from left to right are George Andrew “Andy” Kegley, Executive Director of Helping overcome Poverty’s Existence, Inc. (HOPE); Rebecca Crowgey Beamer, local veterinarian and owner of Community Animal Clinic; and Michael Garland Stephens, Town of Wytheville Treasurer.
