Titans of the Cage returns to Wytheville meeting center

The Titans of the Cage 32 mixed martial arts event will be held Nov. 12 at the Wytheville Meeting Center.

As part of a jam-packed fight card, eight championship belts will be up for grabs at this event, with more than 20 hard-hitting MMA bouts on the main card and another 10 expo bouts on the preliminary card.  The event is overseen by the Virginia DPOR and sanctioned by United Combat Arts.  The state of Virginia licensed amateur sanctioning organization determines the rules, weight classes, round length and size of gloves used.

This event will feature a preliminary card that will begin at 4 p.m. and will feature nine “expo bouts” with both youth and adult competitors with many being Wytheville based competitors.  Following the prelims, the main fight card will get started immediately thereafter – around 5 p.m. – and will feature more than 20 action packed bouts.

Many Wytheville based fighters will be competing on this card. 

Ring-Combat Sports gym of Wytheville is a gym that trains both professional and amateur MMA fighters and has become known as one of the most active MMA gyms in the state putting fighters inside the cage for over 500 bouts. 

RCS once again has several fighters representing with the following fighters on the main card; Pedro Jimenez Vasquez (RCS) vs. Dalton Huffstetler (Beckley, WV), Luke Kincer (RCS) vs. Dan Garrett (Murphy, NC), Chris Spencer (RCS) vs. Dylan Hancock (Bland), Dawson Hudgins (RCS) vs. Ryan Henderson (Marion), James Collins (RCS) vs. Logan Kiernan (Roanoke), Bobby Collins (RCS) vs. Shawn Ciafardini (Roanoke) and Cory Brewster (RCS) vs. Ryker Powell (Raleigh, NC).

Headlining the main card in the main event of the evening will be Daniel “Smiley” Wilkins (Lincolnton, NC) taking on Zay Martin (Asheboro, NC) for the TOC lightweight title.  In the co-main event of the evening it will be Addison Hendry (Elon, NC) facing Emmanuel Simpson (Charlotte, NC) for the TOC bantamweight title.  Other titles will be on the line when April Cline of Princeton faces Hannah Ross of Staunton for the women’s 140 lb. kickboxing belt.  Dustin Garrett (Murphy, NC) battles Delivrance Mpuati (Charlotte, NC) for the vacant featherweight title.  Sarah Flowers (Beckley, WV) will do battle with Hailey Harkey (Hickory, NC) for the women’s featherweight belt, while defending cruiserweight champ, Chris Hamlett (Roanoke) puts his title on the line against Roland Mizzel (SC).  Still more titles are up for grabs when welterweight champ Lewis Glover (GA) puts his belt on the line against Darren Williams (Greensboro, NC) and Austin Cox (Lebanon) steps in against Wyatt Joyce (Asheboro, NC) for the vacant middleweight belt.

Still other awesome bouts will be on this stacked main card with Josh Cook (Halifax) vs Gavin Thomas (Lincolnton, NC), Josh Hoffman (Lexington, NC) vs. Kendall Morris (Charlotte, NC), Matt Justice (Lebanon) vs. Nyzaiah King (Charlotte, NC), Brandon Minor (Elon, NC) vs. Devan Hancock (Wytheville) and Professional MMA fighter Jesse Wickline (Roanoke) will take on Ring-Combat Sports, Elijah Varney in a submission grappling match.

The featured bout on our “prelims” card will be Remi Jackson of Ring-Combat Sports taking on Hunter Martin of Elite grappling in Lebanon.  Also on the prelims will be Montana Smith (RCS) vs. Abby Houck (Taylorsville, NC) and Keyton Warden (RCS) vs. Philip Barr (RCS).  In Jr. MMA expo bouts with modified youth rules it will be Raylan Webb (RCS) vs Judah Willams (RCS), Bentley Ratcliffe (RCS) vs. Colton Crews (Gassaway, WV), Hayden Reed (RCS) vs. Sammy Crews (Gassaway, WV), Lilah Wadden (RCS) vs. Summer Ratcliffe (RCS), Jeffrey Reilley (RCS) vs. James Garrett (Murphy, NC) and Jackson Webb (RCS) vs. Ageo Perez (RCS).

The Wytheville meeting center will provide great comfort for all spectators as all seats will be padded banquet room chairs.  There will also be two large projection screens so fans will always have a clear view of the action inside the cage and there will be concessions on site.  Please make plans to come out and meet UFC fighter Bryan “Pooh Bear” Battle, who is undefeated in the UFC and undefeated professional MMA fighter “Razor” Robbie Ring will both will be in attendance to meet fans and take pictures, so if you have never attended Titans of the Cage, make this your first one.
