Two low-priced shows on tap at Millwald

The Millwald has two concerts on tap this week, both just $5.

On Thursday at 7:30 p.m. multi-instrumentalist Andrew David Weber from Wisconsin will grace the stage. Weber plays various roles in a number of national and international acts. He moves between drums, keys and guitar with Celtic rockers Whiskey of the Damned, and can also be found playing blistering punk rock sets on lead guitar and vocals with the Milwaukee-based American Progress.

While maintaining a life as a family man, Weber also shares the stage with an 80s hit tribute group known as Mixtape and is a touring drummer with Larger Than Life Sam Ness.

Recently, Weber has been writing and producing songs with Liam Kyle Cahill, a Nevada-based singer/songwriter. He is ready to hit the road to promote his new album The Gift of Movement, which dropped on all platforms on June 2.

The Judy Chops

On Friday at 7:30 p.m., The Judy Chops will take the stage. For the past decade The Judy Chops have been wowing audiences with their deft musicianship and high-energy live shows. This seven-piece band comprised of family and friends has evolved from a Shenandoah Valley favorite into one of the hottest acts in the Virginia music scene. Their unique take on Americana is a fusion of modern and vintage musical styles, blending elements of swing, blues, rock, and soul for a sonic experience Huffington Post calls ‘genre-defying!’
